History

Vaporizing medicines has a history of centuries. Only since the last decades the vaporization of marihuana also takes place.

Vaporizing weed originated in the nineties in Canada, where a company produced the first ten prototypes in 1994. In 1995 they made it to the "the Vancouver Sun Newspaper".

In The Netherlands the vaporizer was discovered in 1995 by Evert from Heerhugowaard, later on he also founded a company producing vaporisers. Also see their website, www.de-verdamper.nl.
